I am not happy. This isn't a moment of elation. I am relieved that my city won't burn. I am relieved that it was the best outcome considering the situation. More importantly, I am determined to keep doing this work. Its not a resting point, this is an accelerator.

...Why do we define each other by the disadvantaged parts? By the minority pieces? Is it so that perceptions can be neatly wrapped up into little judgement pamphlets for easy reading?...

For months now I have told myself that I have cabin fever or wanderlust. I don’t think that’s the case...

Even a dumpster fire, as hot as 2020, can provide moments warmth and comfort. Just need to take a few steps back.

I wonder now if wilting in a vase so much worse than dying on a vine? When given in love, cherished and fawned over, the life of a flower isn't wasted, it is enhanced.

Control is limited. Opportunities are endless. Risk is given. What will you choose?

People and things are temporary. If you are anchored there, life will always be off balance. Find true home.
